What a wonderfully chubby ginger cat! I found this place while searching for cat cafés on Google Maps and saw it in the list. I can only give it the highest rating. Of course, I came mainly because of the cats, but even without them I would gladly come back again and again — the drinks are excellent and perfectly balanced, the atmosphere is incredibly pleasant, and the whole place has such a fashionable vibe. All the cool people seem to hang out here.

Dom Cafe doesn’t advertise. It exists. Quietly. Like it trusts the right people will find it, and the wrong people can go drink somewhere louder. You don’t “discover” Dom. You notice it. Maybe after walking past it a few times, seeing people just sitting there like they’ve figured something out that you haven’t yet. And then one day, you walk in. Small, cozy, dim in a way that feels intentional. Not dark, just… soft. Like the place is gently asking you to calm down. I could easily imagine this café as the background of some lo-fi playlist titled “it’s raining and you finally understand your life.” And then there are the real owners of the place. Two dogs. Two cats. Absolute giants. I’m convinced I met the biggest cat in Da Nang here, just sleeping like he pays rent. Another one casually lounging on top of the fridge like it’s a penthouse. The dogs move in and out like they’ve got errands.👀 I got a Saigon milk coffee. It was great. I think. I had about three focused sips before I got completely distracted by a cat existing. Priorities shifted. No regrets.🥰 The whole place feels like a quiet social experiment. People reading, sketching, talking softly, making friends with strangers and animals. I even ended up having a lovely conversation with someone local, which somehow felt very on-brand for this place. You don’t just sit here, you sort of… blend in.🫶🏻 Then there’s the upstairs. A few tables, one big shared space, and a view over the café that makes you feel like you’re in on something. No barriers, no fuss, just trust. The kind of setup that says, “we believe you won’t fall,” and somehow you believe it too. Only catch? They close at 7 p.m. This is not your all-night, life-crisis café. This is where you come to soften the edges of your day, not escape it entirely. The owners are lovely, the vibe is rare, and the whole place feels like something you don’t want to talk about too loudly in case it gets discovered by the wrong crowd. I’ll be back. Probably with a sketchbook. Possibly with a small gift. Definitely for the cat.🥰
